ISO 17025 accreditation :
ISO/IEC 17025 specifies the general requirements for the competence to carry out tests and/or calibrations, including sampling. It covers testing and calibration performed using standard methods, non-standard methods, and laboratory-developed methods.
The accreditation is delivered by the National Accreditation Board TUNAC
The Laboratory of The National Office of thermalism and Hydrotherapy is committed to a quality approach to further consolidate its role as a privileged expert to professionals, consumers and government.
The accreditation process actively undertaken during 2011, resulted in February 2012 to the granting of the certificate of accreditation of the Microbiological Laboratory of the Office. (Accreditation Certificate and appendices):

TUNAC logo will now be inserted in all test report for all the scope of accreditation specified above, that will be an evidence of reliability of the test results at the National and the International Levels. And that is because TUNAC signed mutual recognition agreements with the EA (European Cooperation for Accreditation and the ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) in the fields of accreditation of testing and calibration laboratories.
Hence, the value for the consumers is that the reports are issued by an accredited body, so it enjoys increased credibility and its acceptance in the markets will be facilitated
